This event ranges wide to include the West Bend, Kewaskum, and Holy Hill segments. Goals include new boardwalk construction and building new and improving existing Trail. Project support availability will be announced closer to the event.

This event carries forward and extends the geographic reach of our pre Covid-19 MSC plans. Trail work includes 150 feet of new boardwalk, tread maintenance, signage upgrades, and Trail design and layout. Project support availability will be announced closer to the event.

Be one of the first of 24 Ice Age Trail Alliance volunteers to be nationally certified in safe chainsaw use. Back to back two-day courses are capped at 12 participants each. Location is in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Application deadline is July 1.

JULY & AUGUST Chapter-Led Reconnect Events
Reconnect with the Ice Age Trail and pitch in to help Chapters of the Ice Age Trail Alliance restore open, passable, and navigable Trail conditions. Priorities at these locate events, occurring statewide, include trail mowing, removing invasives, trimming back brush, and clearing downed trees.

“Gib” first opened in 2005 to instant acclaim. This event enhances the Trail experience by clearing eastern red cedar and gets a jump on spring to-dos. Sawyers, all-important swampers, and crew leaders needed!

The venue is located just a handful of miles from the Waterford Road boardwalk project taking place February 5-8, and just a few miles away from Holy Hill in the scenic Kettle Moraine in Southeast Wisconsin.
