Sarah supports the Alliance’s fundraising goals through grant writing, designing and hosting fundraising events, and corporate partner collaboration.
Sarah joined the Alliance staff in 2022, bringing with her a masters in Environmental Conservation and experience working for Madison’s Henry Vilas Zoo, in Operations.
As Philanthropic Coordinator, Sarah supports philanthropic strategies designed to increase support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. In addition, she manages the Alliance’s Corporate Friends and Business Membership programs and helps develop corporate partner collaboration. Sarah also researches and writes grant funding proposals and designs and hosts fundraising events.
Like many other nature enthusiasts, Sarah spent much of her childhood outside. Every summer, she camped with her family and explored the nine-acre prairie surrounding her home. As an adult, Sarah enjoys outdoor activities, especially camping and fishing with her husband, Bryce, hiking throughout the state, and simply sitting around campfires with her friends. She is also an aspiring Thousand-Miler, filling her weekends with miles and miles of Ice Age Trail and conversations with strangers turned hiking buddies.
