Candlelight Sweetheart Hike and Snowshoe Event – Waushara County Chapter

Lace up your hiking boots or snowshoes for a lap or two on a candlelit trail. Then, gather warm and cozy inside the Caribou Bay Retreat to enjoy the camaraderie.

You’re invited to the 26th annual Candlelight Sweetheart Hike & Snowshoe Event hosted by the Waushara County Chapter.

Join the fun:

5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
At the Caribou Bay Retreat event center (N795 County Road JJ, Coloma).

Activities include:

Hiking or snowshoeing a candlelit trail
- A 0.75-mile woodland trail will be lit with hundreds of decorated luminaries.
Warming up around a winter bonfire
Eating s’mores, chili with all the fixings, and enjoying hot beverages
Various activities for kids
Listening to live music by the band “Three on the Deck” and members of the Blackhawk Folk Society
And bidding on Silent Auction items (details coming soon!)
- All auction proceeds benefit the Waushara County Chapter’s efforts to build and maintain the Ice Age Trail in the County.

Admission: FREE, but donations are appreciated and support the Chapter.

February Candlelight Full Moon Hike – Lodi Valley Chapter

The Hike:

Greetings hikers, walkers, strollers, and saunterers!

Join us for a hike under the full moon and be guided by candlelight. A beautiful way to enjoy the winter evening with friends.

We may need to rely on flashlights and headlamps, so bring those if needed. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Well behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome. Due to possible slick conditions walking sticks are recommended. We will have extra available for you to use.

Candlelight Full Moon Hike – Lodi Valley Chapter

The Hike:

Greetings Trail Friends!

Let’s gather under the moon for a candle lit hike with friends! The trail will be glowing with luminaries to guide you through nature. Headlamps optional; let the moon and candles guide you! There will be smoldering fires along the trail from crews that worked that week on the property. Come for the S’mores, stay for the good company.

Event details:

Friday, February 18th at 7:30 pm

Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather. If conditions are slick, wear proper footwear. This will be a leisurely stroll up to the “big bench”. A low key, family friendly walk. Watch for the yellow Ice Age Trail Event signs.
