The Hike:
Join the Ice Age Trail Alliance Lodi Valley Chapter for our next Tyke Hike on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 10 a.m. These short walks are designed for young children accompanied by an adult, with a focus on noticing things in nature. This month’s hike is called “Looking at Lake Wisconsin.” We’ll start at the Merrimac Ferry Wayside and hike to a spot that provides a beautiful view of Lake Wisconsin, about two miles round-trip. We’ll also use magnifying glasses to take a close look at lake water samples. Both these activities are a great way to appreciate this amazing body of water that we have in the Lodi Valley area.
We hope to see you at the Tyke Hike!

The Hike:
Greetings hikers, walkers, strollers, and saunterers!
Join the Lodi Valley Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance on Saturday, June 11th for our monthly full moon walk under the Strawberry Moon.
We will meet at the Twin Pines Trailhead on Lodi/Springfield Road at 7:30 pm and walk up the trail to take in the views of the Lodi Marsh and the moon. Depending on how energetic everyone is we might even go further…or not!
The moon rises around 5:30 pm so it will be fairly light at the start of the walk, but we may need to rely on flashlights and headlamps by the end as the sun sets about 8:30 pm. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and bring along a flashlight or headlamp. Well behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome.
