Langlade County – Kettlebowl Segment Logging Reroute (posted 8/21/2018)

Due to an extensive logging operation, the Kettlebowl Segment is closed, however an alternate route is offered, see map below; follow blue-dashed line.

From the north going south: At the intersection of Burma Road and Smokey Road, turn right onto Smokey Road. Stay on Smokey Road until it intersects with Hwy 64. Turn right and follow Hwy 64 until it intersects with Sherry Road. Turn right onto Sherry Road and stay on Sherry Road until it intersects with Oak Road. You are now back on a designated road walk route.

From the south going north: Take a left on Sherry Road and follow until it intersects with Hwy 64. Head east on Hwy 64 until it intersects with Smokey Road. Turn left and follow Smokey Road until it intersects with Burma Road. Continue north on Ice Age Trail.

Please note: Camping is ONLY allowed in the Langlade County Forest, it is prohibited on any other land. ALSO, water sources are unavailable on this 8-mile stretch.
