The Hike: Due to forecasted heavy rains, the event is CANCELLED on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 6pm for this family-friendly, easy 1.5-mile hike on the Merrimac Segment and Riverland Conservancy Merrimac Preserve for trick-or-treating and a monster hunt!  The beautiful, winding prairie for hunting spooks hidden along the way will have to wait until next year.  No postponement date is planned.  We will hope for a dry day next year!

Event Details: Wear your costumes and bring your trick-or-treat candy bag on this one-way loop trail.  Arrival time is flexible, but expect about 1-2 hours on the trail.  The event will close at 9pm.  Donations are greatly appreciated to offset the cost of the event and to help us maintain and grow our beautiful trail. Location Details: The hike begins at the Riverland Conservancy Merrimac Preserve parking area behind their barn on Hwy 113 in Merrimac with parking on site.
