Two 1000-milers will introduce themselves to Wannabes at the northern Pine Lake segment parking lot. One Wannabe has signed on so far. Others are invited to join us.

We’re still working on the details for direction on this hike. The intent is to hike the Pine Lake and Straight River segments. Pine Lake includes climbing a stile into a cow pasture. We’ll find out if the cows are still present or just testimonials to their presence.

Rain is forecast for the afternoon, so we’ll want to get an earlier start.
