Leopold Bench-Making Workshop-Indianhead Chapter, Polk County

Have you ever stopped to admire or rest on one of the iconic Leopold benches along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail? If so, this is your chance to learn how to make one!

Join Dave King and Grant Burdick , Indianhead Chapter members, for a bench-making workshop, on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., at the Chapter shed, 2918 140th Street, Frederic, Wis.

You’ll bring the supplies you’ll need (see supply list), and Dave and Grant will provide all the guidance you need to build a bench in this hands-on and beginner-friendly workshop. Plus bring beverages and a sack lunch.

  • Register to save your spot.
  • Limit 15 participants.
  • $15.00 fee helps off-set Chapter-related costs.
