Please join us for a hike on the National Ice Age Scenic Trail in Hartland. Hartland Hikes occur monthly and are led by Jeff Romagna, in cooperation with the Hartland Parks and Recreation Department.

Hartland has been designated as an official Ice Age Trail community. A 4.7 mile segment of the Trail passes through the community, including Penbrook Park, Nixon Park, Bark River Park, Hartbrook Park and Centennial Park. Highlights of the segment include the Aldo Leopold Overlook, Cottonwood Wayside, the John Muir Overlook and Maple Wayside.

Hikers should wear clothing and shoes/boots appropriate to the weather. Water and insect repellant are recommended.
