Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Tyke Hike

October 28, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Come on a Halloween Tyke Hike to explore Wisconsin’s own Ice Age National Scenic Trail!  We will hike part of the Pike Lake segment of the trail, stopping for treats along the way!

Tyke Hikes are short, slow-paced hikes focused on exploration, discovery, service opportunities and natural play.  They last approximately 1-2 hours and can cover up to 1.5 miles. Tyke Hikes are led by Peter Dargatz, a forest kindergarten teacher and Ice Age Trail volunteer. Most Tyke Hikes include a picture book story and information about the Ice Age Trail.

All families are welcome! Please come “get lost in the right direction” with us. We will meet at the UW-Waukesha Field Station. Hikers should bring flashlights and wear clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather. Water and insect repellant are recommended.
