We'll be clearing brush and weed trees from land crossed by the southern portion of the Montrose Segment.  Trained chain sawyers with proper protective equipment are welcome, but there will be plenty of hand work as well.  Park at the Hwy D trail crossing between Bellbrook Rd & Hwy DD.  (Map/directions).

We will resume our multi-year effort to rescue dormant prairie remnants from encroaching cedars, unwanted tree and invasive shrubs.  Trained chain sawyers with proper protective gear are welcome.  Meet at the Twin Pines lot (map/directions) on Lodi Springfield Road.

We plan to work in the honeysuckle and box elder infested strip of woods extending west of the small parking area.  We hope this will facilitate our ongoing efforts to control garlic mustard there, and enhance the effectiveness of landscape-scale techniques, such as prescribed burning.
