When it comes to volunteering, we have something for everyone. The Ice Age Trail is built with more than just trail tools. We encourage volunteers to share their unique talents, whether they are found on the Trail, in the office or behind a camera lens.
If you’d like to contribute to any of the opportunities below, or if you have an idea of another way you’d like to volunteer your time, please contact us at info@iceagetrail.org or (800) 227-0046.
Creative Talents
If you have a knack for the written word or capturing the beauty of the Ice Age Trail in photos, we want your help! Stories from the Trail, both in words and images, are always in high demand. Please contact us if you want to share your skills.
Ice Age Trail Alliance Booth at Events
Our staff travel to events throughout the state to talk to people about the Ice Age Trail, and many of our volunteer chapters do the same for local or regional events. For these settings, we love having volunteers at the booth who are excited to talk about the Ice Age Trail and the work we do. Please contact your local chapter or our office if you’re interested in sharing your love of the Trail.
Around the Office
Sometimes, creating meaningful Trail experiences means doing the office work. Volunteer opportunities at our headquarters in Cross Plains vary from recording volunteer hours and caring for the garden to the ever-enthralling filing of papers. Please get in touch with us if you’re interested in helping out at basecamp.
