Parrish Hills Re-route Work Day
May 12 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Event: Will continue to prepare the re-route for hikers. Blazers are needed for this workday!
Workday Gear: Dress for grubby, outdoor work. Wear rugged footwear, long work pants, long-sleeved shirt, gloves and a hat. Sunscreen, bug spray or raingear may be appropriate. Workdays usually go on in most weather except hazardous conditions, such as thunderstorms. Dress in layers, especially in cold or variable weather. Most of our worksites lack improved toilet facilities but permit natural and private relief (bring TP). Bring water, and lunch or a snack if staying into the afternoon. Chain saws or brush cutters may be used with safety gear and training. For sawyers, we require chaps, helmet, eye and ear protection, cut proof boots and accredited training.
Registration and a completed volunteer form is required for this event.

Location:
We’ll park off of 5 cent Road. Follow the yellow “Ice Age Trail Event,” signs. The road to the parking area is an unpaved, gravel road that might be muddy.
