Shuttled Hike for the Highland Lakes Segment

This 12.8-mile segment is named for the abundance of lakes located in the area that serves as the headwaters for the Hunting, Eau Claire, and Prairie rivers. It features the Parrish Terminal Moraine and part of the segment follows the base of a ridge that is the highest outer moraine ridge anywhere on the entire Ice Age Trail. Note: water crossing at West Branch of the Eau Claire. Be prepared to hike the full 12.8-mile distance.

Event Details:
What to bring: Dress in layers for variable weather conditions, including rain gear. Sturdy hiking boots or shoes are recommended. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, first aid and be prepared for ticks and mosquitos. Navigation tools – Far Out app or map and a light. Dogs or other pets: There is not space for pets on these shuttles.
